Prep Time 10 minutes mins

Total Time 30 minutes mins
- -1 block extra firm tofu
- -1/4 cup cornstarch
- -2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- -1/4 cup soy sauce
- -1/4 cup brown sugar
- -2 cloves garlic minced
- -1 teaspoon ground ginger
- -1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Here's what you'll need:
1 block of firm tofu, drained and pressed
1/2 head of broccoli, cut into florets
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup mirin
1 tablespoon honey
clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
For the Tofu:
Cut the tofu into 1-inch cubes and place them in a bowl. In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the soy sauce, mirin, honey, garlic, and ginger. Pour this over the tofu and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (the longer the better!).
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add in the tofu (reserving the marinade) and cook until crisp and golden on all sides. This should take about 10 minutes.
Add in the broccoli florets and cook for 3-5 minutes, until slightly tender. Pour in the reserved marinade and cook until heated through. Serve immediately with rice and enjoy!
